From Making Gifts Vol. 2:

I designed this bag several years ago out of personal needs; I've since lost count of the number of times I've gifted one to friends. It's the unsung hero of bags, if you will. It's durable, washable, fully lined - which means it's reversible - and has ample room for innumerable carting around and shopping needs. I've updated my design with a handy little front pocket that is sized to allow the bag to fold into a compact little rectangle. I recommend using lighter weight linen and cotton fabrics to make this transformative feature a snap; alternatively, play around with the pocket dimensions to your liking. This bag is fun to make (the "burrito" method is an excellent method to have in your sewing arsenal) and is sure to become a beloved workhorse!

Finished measurements: Approximately 18" wide x 23" tall x 4" deep [45.7 cm x 58.4 cm x 10.2 cm]
