From Sew Liberated:

Fitted in the places you like, loose in the places you prefer a little extra room, Bedrock will be your new favorite tee. With two silhouettes, as well as tank, short sleeve, and long sleeve options, Bedrock is a quick sew and builds a strong foundation for your wardrobe.

Far from a basic tee, the Bedrock is a closet staple with tons of options. The instructions are full of tips for sewing with knits, so if you’re ready to begin making THE foundational pieces in your wardrobe, the Bedrock Tee sewing pattern is a great place to start.

Bedrock is:

  • easy to lengthen or shorten
  • easy to sew
  • easy to wear on its own, tucked in or tied in a knot
  • easy to layer over and under your favorite sleeveless dresses

Fabric Recommendations: The Bedrock Tee is intended for fabric with 40% stretch and quick recovery. For a flowy fit, choose a knit fabric with rayon or bamboo content in addition to spandex. For a more structured fit, look for a mid-weight knit fabric with at least 40% stretch and good recovery such as cotton jersey.

Sizes: 0-34
Drafted for a height of 5’5” (165 cm)

Model Notes: In our photos, Meg wears a size 10, Sudi-Laura wears a size 22 (view A, lengthened by 2″ (5 cm)) and Meredith wears a size 4.
