L’Oeuf Bag is designed with an easy-to-access double zipper pull main compartment and a back zipper pocket, both of which keep your phone, keys, and wallet safe and secure.
The front, curved pocket is perfect for a pair of sunglasses or an auxiliary pocket for your hand. The bag is fully lined with an additional internal pocket, and the interior is finished with bias binding. Adjust the webbing strap to your ideal length to comfortably wear it high or low on the body.
Recommended Fabrics: For the outer fabric, we recommend a medium- to heavy-weight woven fabric that has no stretch. Choose a stable fabric like canvas, denim, or twill. Recommended fabrics are sturdy, opaque, and range in weight from 10 oz to 12 oz (340 – 400 GSM). If you want to use a fabric that is lighter than 10 oz (340 GSM), it’s recommended that you interface all of the main pieces with a woven fusible interfacing such as Pellon SF-101 Shape Flex or Wawak’s Profuse Woven Interfacing.
The lining fabric should be stable and easy to handle. Excellent options are cotton lawn, a stable cotton like shirting, and quilting cotton. Don’t choose a bulkier fabric like flannel, or the bag will be too difficult to sew through the multiple layers.
