Warm, mellow, sunflower, saffron and turmeric tones weave through this gorgeous Donegal Tweed herringbone, evoking memories of relaxed autumnal strolls and the resting evening sunshine. Woven with the ever-present charcoal warp to form a reassuring background of chevrons; the Donegal yarn sitting in the mellow sunflower and mustard warp has pale straw, saffron and honey coloured flecks. This 100% new wool has a reassuringly soft texture, but remains a medium weight with a great handle and drape. A truly first class fabric to work with!

This stunning must-have colour is always a firm favourite for country outerwear and works beautifully for jackets, overcoats and pea coats. Alternatively you can go for something a little less formal and try a dazzling ponchos or capes. A matching waistcoat and skirt would look the bees knees in this resonant honey and mustard shade - great garments to throw on with chunky tights and winter boots. How about completing the ensemble with your own bespoke, matching accessories? Hats, ear warmers, bags and scarves to give just a few ideas...

Interiors projects around the home would be equally as stunning. Combine Mellow Autumn Sunshine with Strut Your Stuff, Peacock! for blinds, throws and cushions with this on-trend and comfy country-style wonder - an eye-catching, vivid and modern twist to a traditional combination.
