About

Hi and welcome to CocoWawa Crafts!

My name is Ana and I am originally from Spain but I have been living in London for more than six years (yes! I complain about the weather a lot!). Around five years ago I fall in love with all things sewing after attending several workshops in London and also with all the beautiful fabrics you can find out there.

And that is why I decided to open my own online fabric store, CocoWawa Crafts, where you can find quirky, fun, colourful and contemporary certified organic cotton and jersey fabrics for any of your sewing projects, quilting and crafting ideas. But, that's not all. Apart from learning all about sewing joining different courses and workshops, reading books and watching online tutorials, I have also attended a Printmaking for Textiles course at City Lit The Conservatoire Blackheath in London; I have completed an online course in digital surface pattern design with British artist Rachael Taylor and I have attended two courses at the London College of Fashion: Pattern Cutting for Womenswear and Professional Sewing Techniques.

All this has lead to the launch of my own sewing pattern collection, starting with the popular Marshmallow Dress for women, the lovely Lily Blouse and Dress and our first pattern for kids, the Mini Marshmallow Dress for little girls age 3 to 12, perfect to create some matching outfits. All our sewing patterns are available on a PDF version in both English and Spanish, they come with great technical drawings and illustrations and all the necessary steps to create your own handmade wardrobe and learn something new at the same time

Last but not least, I also blog about what I am sewing, new patterns releases, as well as sewing inspiration and useful tutorials. If you fancy more watching than reading, CocoWawa has a brand new YouTube Channel full of fun fabric hauls, how-to videos and if you have bought one of the patterns, I will teach you how to make them.

Thanks a lot for your visit and happy sewing!

Ana
