The Hootley Hoodie is just too cute, and I have had so many people ask for it in women's sizes. Who am I to say no? Plus, who doesn't love a good "mommy and me" set? So while you dress the little ones in a Hootley, you wear a Zippity.

This pattern is designed with enough ease to fit over a lightweight longsleeve shirt (when made with two layers of cotton lycra). If you would like it to fit over bulkier sweaters or to use fabric much thicker than, for example, french terry, I suggest sizing up.

The standard pattern walks you through making a zip up, reversible hoodie. There are instructions for shortening a zipper, modifying the jacket for cuffs, a collar, bottom bands, or pull over versions. There is a petite cut line as well as slim fit, regular fit, and A-line options.
