In my mind, a wrap dress is a casual wardrobe essential. Wrap dresses make for fuss-free dressing - plus they flatter a wide range of figures. Their adjustable fit means they're forgiving if you put on a pound or two. My wrap dress design has retro features - a shawl-like collar, a slightly full skirt, and gathers at the front shoulder. I moved the shoulder seam forward, creating a yoke that is cut in one with the bodice back, which shows off the shoulder gathers as a design feature.
