Now you can make your very own elegant and creative knickers with the Willow pattern. The Willow knickers feature a high waist length and hipster style knicker pattern with a centre panel to show off your best fabrics. The Willow is inspired by a vintage shape and will give that hint of luxury and elegance to your undies drawer. You can choose to add a centre front trim to add to the vintage look or leave it plain for simply sophisticated look. The great thing about these is that almost any rigid or woven fabric can be used as the centre panel so you can really get creative!
You will learn how to make these knickers on a sewing machine with the instructions booklet which has lots of photos, showing you every step. You will learn how to insert a neat invisible gusset and gusset liner, how to apply lingerie elastic and incorporate both stretch and rigid fabrics together. This pattern is perfect for you if you have a small amount of experience with sewing on a sewing machine but want to challenge yourself further and come out with a unique and rewarding creation that you can wear.
Willow has a full bum coverage and a standard leg hole opening. The high waist comes to your natural waistline whereas the hipster style comes just above the hip bone.

Suggested Fabrics: For sides and back - light- to medium-weight stretch fabrics: jersey, stretch satin, stretch mesh, powernet, stretch lace. Suggested stretch 50%. For front center panel - rigid/woven fabrics: cotton lawn, silk, satin. For gusset liner - cotton jersey.
