The Willow bra has a few different looks! There is the 'Classic' style, which is the most simple and is a great place to start for a beginner. The 'Wrap Around' Style, which has a beautiful cross over detail at the front and a strap which fastens at the back with a bikini clasp or G-hook. The Lace style, which is a similar shape to the Classic style but sewn with lace, with a lace edge at the front.
There is also TWO tutorials with this pattern! One, for adding a lace band to create a longline style and the other for adding a lace overlay on the classic or wrap around styles. (See more in image 2)
Skill Level:
Intermediate. If you are new to sewing bras don't let 'intermediate' put you off! There are sooo many photos and step by step instructions which simplifies the process of sewing the various style bras included with this pattern. Skills you may find useful (or will learn on the job) are sewing with various lingerie elastics such as FOE and picot and sewing with stretch fabrics.
