From Made My Wardrobe:

The Thelma Trousers are a straight leg, high waisted pair of trousers, with a buckle detail at the back. We wanted to design a hardworking pair of trousers that pretty much does it all. So we came up with Thelma. Climb a tree, ride a bike, fall off your skateboard, chop some wood, go to a festival, wear them out and about. This pattern is a great way up your sewing skills and create a truly hard-wearing garment. If you have never sewn a fly zip before this is the perfect place to start. We've included plenty of pockets and a few interesting seam techniques for you to have a go at.

Recommended fabrics: Thelma looks great made in heavy weight woven fabrics such as Denim, Twill or Corduroy. Once you have chosen your main fabric you will also need a lightweight cotton for your front pocket bag and a piece of fusible interfacing for your waist band and fly facing. You will need a 15cm metal jean zip for your fly, a metal trouser hook and bar and a 2.5cm wide metal buckle for the back fastening. If you feel overwhelmed by finding all these elements don’t worry we sell Thelma Kits!
