From Designer Stitch:

The Tanner Culotte is the one style we’re seeing everywhere. It is a super chic and fashion forward style that is so hot on the
catwalks right now.

If you love making a style statement in your outfit, then culottes are a pant silhouette you’ll want to add to your wardrobe.

For those not familiar with this fashion-forward style, culottes are essentially a wide-legged, cropped jean. A classic pair of culottes will actually look and hang much like a midi-length skirt, with very wide-cut, flared legs that hit at (or even above) mid-calf level.

Featuring a natural waist fit, 4 pockets, zip fly & button fastening, belt looped waistband and an optional cropped frayed leg.

The construction of the Tanner is recommended for intermediate levels due to:

  • Fly Front
  • Shaped waistband with belt loops
  • Patch pockets front and back.
  • A very good knowledge of your own personal fitting requirements as the pattern offers the opportunity to fine-tune the fit of your garment
