It all started with the idea of combining stars of multiple sizes into one quilt top. Then I began to play around with the idea of having stars with multiple “layers” and, suddenly, Stars Align took shape.
This pattern uses the Four-At-A-Time, No-Waste Flying Geese Method to create the star points and involves some smaller piecing, making it best suited for an intermediate level quilter or a confident beginner.
