From EvielaLuveDIY:

The Shirley Gown is a simple yet versatile pattern that is quick and fun to make. There is so many options for customisation! You can sew the gown with a cold shoulder detail or with a covered shoulder for a more classic style.

The pattern instructions give direction on sewing the cold shoulder detail with lace trim, bias binding hems (including how to make bias binding from fabric) and a simple turned hem. There are also instructions for adding a tie and loops at the side seams to hold the tie at the waist. But why stop there?! This is a simple pattern to customise by adding lace trim sleeves, fringing hems, pom poms, tassels, beading, lace appliqués etc...The possibilities are endless for a truly customised gown!

Skill Level - Beginner. There are sooooo many pictures and illustrations included in the pattern instructions and this is a simple sew!
