This project is perfect for a rainy day! The quilt uses one background color and a variety of small white scraps. Even though the pieces are small, the contrast between the two colors creates a big impact. Another option would be to sew it up with one background fabric and a variety of colored scraps. The results would look like confetti!
This pattern is a bit different than most. Rather than giving exact measurements for each piece, the blocks are pieced improvisationally. There are plenty of tips and diagrams included in the pattern that will help you be successful with improvisational piecing, even if it is your first time.
