This pattern is truly a labor of Scandinavian love. Inspired by traditional Scandinavian folk art practices, like Rosemaling wood painting, it's a modern take on the painted flowers and dala horses scattered around the home of my youth. It uses 50% paper piecing and 50% traditional piecing for a quick and satisfying sew. The quilt finishes at 72x72" and includes full color pictures, diagrams, instructions, coloring sheet, and alternate layouts (some of which require no paper piecing!)
