From Halfmoon Atelier:

This modern, minimalist pencil skirt gently hugs your hips, yet allows for free movement thanks to the rounded side slit. midi-skirt ROMA will be the skirt you pair with a white button-down blouse and black heels when you want to feel put together and powerful. But it'll also be the skirt you pair with a simple tank or T, sandals and a tote as you stroll through the markets of Rome.

SUITABLE FABRICS:
Light- or medium weight denim(like) wovens are best for midi-skirt ROMA. These offer a good, sturdy structure no matter the weight, but also with a bit of give so that you can move easily. If you choose to work with a fabric with stretch, then a tighter stretch, such as stretch denim or a heavier weight jersey, is best. These fabrics will hold their form better than lighter weight, super stretchy fabrics. Depending on the stretch, you may need to go down a (partial) size. (please see photo #5 above for fabric requirements)

DIFFICULTY: Beginner....but still fun (and quick!) for intermediate or advanced sewists.
