Replicate a dress from the 1890s and start here.  Make the perfect Steampunk or Edwardian (or Teens) outfit!  You need our pattern for this beautiful ladies’ waistcoat based on an original period tailor’s draft.  With its front darts and seamed back, this basic vest looks beautiful on a variety of figures and works from the 1890s and 1910s  as well as for any fantasy outfit you can create.  Lengthen it into a jacket or coat!  Pair it with skirts!  Wear it with trousers!  It’s all up to you.

Four versions are included:  V-neck, step-collar, double-breasted, and high collar.  Fits busts 28″ through 48″ and waists 20″ through 40″ with instructions for conversion to larger sizes.  All sizes are  included in the pattern. Detailed instructions, period tailoring directions, embellishment suggestions, and historical notes are also included.
