This mask can be made in varying sizes from 14 cm wide upwards . Choose the width of finished mask that you want and cut the back or lining fabric to this width.  Cut the front fabric 6 cm wider. You should cut the height of the fabric approximately 2 cm larger than the width. However this can be varied if you are making a mask for someone with a particularly long thin face, for example, or for a beard.

Guidance for mask materials

Suitable fasteners include: elastic ear loops, T-shirt string, continuous elastic for behind the head, and fabric ties.  Fasteners can be adjusted or replaced using the binding channels.
