From Endearing Em:

This sewing pattern is named after the California state flower, the poppy. During the spring, the hills in the canyon where I live start to turn bright orange as the poppies and other wildflowers begin to bloom, reminding me how important it is to treasure this wild land. The Poppy Pinafore is a garment inspired by connection with the earth and with creating. I hope that it's worn everywhere from inside the studio to outside in the garden.

Garment Description: The Poppy Pinafore is a loose-fitting apron-like garment meant to be worn over T-shirts and tank tops. It has two topstitched front pockets and side seam slits on both sides, with the back hanging slightly longer. Poppy comes in two lengths, A (short) and B (midi), and has a slight A-line for a more comfortable fit in the hips.

Difficulty: Easy, beginner-friendly
