Our first Sew Along is Pockets! Prior to the 19th century you really did not find pockets in women’s garments. They were worn under their petticoats or gowns and accessed through a slit in their outer garments. This is a great “lap” project and a good way to practice your stitches.   • Fabric: 1/3 yd. each for front & back
  • Tape: 2 - 3 yd. of 3/4 inch wide linen or cotton tape
  • Thread: in weight to match fabric
  • Beeswax for thread.
