From Closet Core:
Create a one-of-a-kind quilted jacket with Parchment, the debut pattern for Closet Core Crew. With a gently oversized fit, Parchment features curved raglan seams and a slightly balloon-shaped sleeve, making it the perfect seasonal layering piece.
View A is hip-length with a gently curved hem and angled pockets. View B hits above the knee with a straight hem and curved patch pockets (note that we shortened the pattern after we made samples so it is slightly shorter than pictured on most models). All views can be made with or without an overlapping button placket, and a square or curved neckline edge.
Recommended Fabrics:
- Outer layer - light to mid-weight woven fabrics such as cotton poplin, lawn, voile, chambray and broadcloth, or linen. Drapey fabrics are not recommended.
- Middle batting layer - quilt batting in cotton, bamboo, or wool.
- Inner layer - same as outer, or choose a smooth faced cotton in a contrast colour or pattern.
