From Closet Core:

Is this the perfect spring dress? We’ll leave it to you to decide, but we know the Mica Dress will be our first choice for the warm days to come. At first glance, Mica's full A-line skirt and high neckline evoke a nostalgic 50s silhouette, but the lined, sleeveless bodice feels utterly modern and minimalist with its narrow halter-style fit through the neck and shoulders. You’ll love our innovative button closure along the side seam (not a zipper in sight!) And yes — it has pockets (!!)

  • View A has a midi-length skirt hitting at low calf.
  • View B has a short skirt ending above the knee.

Please note: The 14-32 bodice has four front waistline darts, not two (the pattern was amended after our photoshoot). In addition, to create the chevron effect on the blue + white striped sample, we added a seam to center front; this piece is otherwise cut on the fold in the final pattern.

Recommended Fabrics:

  • We suggest stable, light- to midweight wovens such as linen, poplin, seersucker, broadcloth, sateen, chambray, and cotton shirtings.
  • Our cutting layouts assume you are using outer fabric to line your bodice, but you can also choose lightweight fabrics such as bemberg, silk, lawn, voile, or batiste. You'll need 1 yard (0.9 m) of lining fabric.Sizes: 0-20 and 14-32
Both size ranges are included with your download of any Crew Pattern.

Note: This pattern is exclusively available to Closet Core Crew members.
