From Elbe Textiles:

The Maynard Dress is a contemporary wrap dress, with asymmetrical front panels and tie closures at the waist. The V neck has a folded collar at the front and extended shoulders. The back features an inverted box pleat running from neck to waist and a godet inserted within the skirt. Two patch pockets finish off the design. The fit is somewhat relaxed around the waist.

This dress has a separate file for each size. If you fall between multiple sizes and don’t know which one to pick, I would recommend choosing the size that matches your waist measurement. As this is a wrap dress with tie closures on both sides of the waist, there is a fair amount of leeway in regards to fit around the bust and hips.

The Maynard Dress is designed to be a relaxed fit. The waist is not supposed to be tight fitting, there is 10 – 15cm ease depending on your size (compare the Size Chart to the Finished Garment Measurements). As always, it is recommended to make a toile first to correct any potential fitting issues.

This dress may need to be shortened for wearers under 5'5. I encourage everyone to make this pattern their own, and not worry about keeping it zero-waste. I would prefer everyone to end up with something they love wearing, instead of feeling as though they have to follow the layout exactly to keep it within the zero-waste parameters.

Suggested Fabrics: Medium weight linen, linen blends, medium weight cotton, hemp and similar woven fabrics, tencel and cupro.

Sizes: A to I (see size chart in images)
