The Honeydew Skirt was specially made with beginners in mind, so it is quick to sew and comes with instructions that assume no knowledge beyond basic sewing skills. Since it is made with stretch wovens, it can easily be pulled on and off without any closures like buttons or zippers.

Inspired by big-skirted vintage patterns, the Honeydew is a modern take on an old look that doesn’t require a petticoat, yet will still make you feel very feminine. The front of the skirt offers a flattering A-line look that’s a great blank canvas for embellishing or using large scale prints. The back of the skirt is made from three shaped gores that create a fuller, vintage-inspired silhouette from behind.

Three waistband styles give you plenty of options to choose from. Option A has an exposed elastic waistband. Wear it low on the waist for a below the knee look or at your natural waist for an above the knee skirt. Options B and C have fabric waistbands that are worn low on the waist, about 3″ below your natural waist, and will give you a skirt that hits below the knee. Option B creates a wide waistband and Option C gives you a sweet overlap detail.

Generously sized in-seam pockets make it easy to run out of the house with just a phone and your wallet instead of carrying a purse.
