Grasshopper is a cocktail dress with curved 'optical illusion' panels at the sides for a flattering effect. This dress is ideal for colour blocking, especially with darker colours on the side panels, since that enhances the effect.
View A has cap sleeves that cover the shoulder. View B has cut-away arm holes with the same high neckline. Both versions of the dress are fully lined with a walking vent at the centre back and a centre back invisible zip.
Suitable fabrics are medium-weight woven dress fabrics and fabrics with a slight crosswise stretch. For the lining, use lining fabric.
