From New Vintage Lady:

The Gibson, named after the famed Gibson Girl, is a two piece costume with an ankle length walking skirt and a peplum top.

Ideal fabrics for this pattern are cottons, silks, and linens for the blouse, and linens, wool, or any med to heavy weight fabric, for the skirt. No stripes or patterns for the skirt.

The skirt has 12 pleats, size on the front and six on the back, with o opening on the side pleat.

The pattern is ideal for steampunk too!

My goal with this pattern line was to update the sizing of period correct vintage styles for the larger person. The size range of the pattern line is 40-60 bust.
