From Hunter’s Design Studio:

The General Organa Quilt is a “pay what you will” pattern I designed to honor the late Carrie Fisher and her iconic role as Princess Leia in the Star Wars films. You can read more about it here.

The pattern is all straight seams and snowballs. There are a few funky shapes, and the pattern includes your choice of traditional templates or paper-piecing patterns for those. It’s nothing you can’t sew if you can hold to a decent 1/4” seam. Full sized paper-pieced letters for both word layouts are included (so read it first and print only the parts you need). The “General Organa” layout finishes at 45” x 56”, and the “Resistance” layout finishes at 50” x 60”, which is perfect for a snuggle, or a great start to something bigger. The figure of General Organa measures 11” x 40” as a block.

Kona Cotton color suggestions are included in the pattern.

ALL proceeds from this pattern will be donated quarterly to ChickTech, a nonprofit dedicated to retaining women in the technology workforce and increasing the number of women and girls pursuing technology-based careers.
