Florin and Guilder are names for the coins used in the Netherlands before the Euro was introduced. They date back to ancient times when the tulip was the real currency of that land. These two tulip-inspired squares are stitched with Carrie's Silks on 32 count Lakeside Linens. Florin (left) is the August "Stitch Your Heart Out" chart and support the Carol for Heart charity. Guilder (right) was conceived to make good use of the leftover threads, saving you some coins.

49 x 49 stitch count.

The model was stitched on 32 count Porcelain linen by Lakeside Linens & Designs, Inc. using six colors of silk by Carrie’s hand-dyed Threads. One silk pack is plenty to stitch both designs.

A DMC conversion is supplied.
