From The Pattern Basket:
Feathers is not paper pieced and no template is used.
The block is made with traditional piecing methods.
I used a beautiful moda collection called Strawberry Fields Revisited by Fig Tree.
The block measures 8 1/2" and 8" sewn into the quilt.
Finished quilt measures 60 1/2" by 70"
Fabric Requirements
- One Moda Layer Cake
- One Fat Quarter brown for the beaks
- 3 3/4 Yards for the background
- 2 Yards for the border
- 3/4 Yard for the border
- 4 Yards for the backing
