From Pipe Dream Patterns:

Dùn Èideann is the Scottish Gaelic for Edinburgh, capital city of Scotland and has varied pronunciation depending on accent, but we will use 'Doonayjun' as ours.

This oversized coat with darted hem is my take on a classic cocoon, with a very over indulgent, rolled, cowl like collar but you can leave this out on V2 for a spring/summer coat.

It is an unlined, but fully faced garment with grown on sleeves, sits mid calf, and includes a fully faced darted hem.  The turned up cuff sleeves are bracelet length and the front pockets sit in line with the bottom of the sleeves.

Don’t let the cosy style of this coat fool you, the Dùn Èideann is totally capable of slipping into your spring/summer wardrobe as the black cupro collarless version proves.
