These Celtic creatures are pulling double duty to bring year-round smiles. What started out as a series of Christmas ornaments inspired by the tangled beasts found in old Celtic manuscripts, soon grew to a set of projects sure to please all. In addition to the holiday setting, the Dog, the Griffin, the Stag, and a Pair of Peacocks are each presented in a non-seasonal design.

To further double the fun, each was fully charted for two separate colorways. You can see examples of the muted antique-y colors and the non-seasonal motifs as well as the Christmas versions in the bright colorways in the photos.

45 x 49 stitch count each. These are the perfect size for ornaments, needlecases, pinkeeps, and more.

The model were stitched on a rainbow of hand-painted linens from Sassy’s Fabbys in 32 and 36 counts using Carrie’s hand-dyed Threads.
