Celebration was designed as a stash buster. I used approximately 12-14 scraps that were fat quarter size or smaller. You could use a greater variety if you like or if you have smaller scraps. This quilt is what I call large scale paper piecing. The foundation pieces are larger, making fabric placement more challenging, yielding a modern, graphic, geometric design. The design plays with shapes and how they relate to each other along the seam line: two triangles become a diamond, two half hexies become a hexagon.
Finished Quilt Size: 60” x 64.”
