Mens Cargo Shorts with pleated side pockets, back welt pockets, front fly with zipper, side pockets, six belt loops, faced waistline and back reinforcement. This traditional cargo short has a 9½” / 24 cm inseam.
The instructions also include a simple version without side pockets and back reinforcement.Skill level 3/4
The shorts have a front zipper, and welt pockets. The techniques are fully illustrated. If you are new to welts and zippers it's only a matter of practicing a few times! Read the step by step blog post on how to install the zipper.
Fabric and notions
This pattern is designed for a bottom weight sturdy type cotton, linen, rib-stop, canvas, denim or other traditional pant weight fabric.
You may choose fabric that includes lycra, but it’s not required.Featuring
