From Madeit Patterns:

Breeze Shorts are your minimalist, relaxed-fit, summer shorts for keeping your cool in the heat. Featuring handy side pockets and a convenient back patch pocket. The wide, old-school boxing style elasticated waistband is an aesthetic statement that also makes for an easy fit. Breeze Shorts are slightly longer than your average pair of shorts with an airy fit around the leg. Each little design feature has been carefully considered for people (like us) who didn’t wear shorts. But now we do and hope you will too. There’s nothing like a summer Breeze, so bring on the sunshine, get those legs out and lap up the vitamin D.

Fabric Recommendations: Breeze Shorts look particularly good in linen or any similar light to medium weight woven fabric with a bit of drape. Be aware that fabrics without drape may stick out and not hang well. And fabrics that are too thick will be bulky at the gathered waist. Consider: cotton, cotton blends, flannel, chambray, double gauze, seersucker, viscose…

Skill Level: Easy to Medium (for the experienced sewist). The BreezeShorts are a ‘NO FRILLS’ pattern for people who have been sewing for a while and know how to construct a simple garment.

Sizes: Size Range 1, Size Range 2 (see size charts in images) fits hip up to 57"/145 cm
