I got myself into a bit of a pickle with this quilt. After designing the overall shape of the Bloom Block, I realized the only way to achieve it was through foundation paper piecing – something I’d never done before. Well I went for it and am so glad I did because the result is a stunning quilt.
If you’re new to foundation paper piecing, this is a great quilt to start with! The majority of it is traditionally pieced and what is paper pieced is rather simple.
