The Anita Slip and Slip Dress is a “me-made” wardrobe staple, updated to be easy to make and modern without losing its classic, nostalgic charm. It features bust gathers in 3 sizes, a high waist, and an A-line shape. With just 1 pattern piece, a variety of knit fabrics and readily available lace and other trims, you can make and remade this dress in different lengths to fit many wardrobe needs quick and easy! Examples... a slippery neutral knit for a traditional slip under a sheer dress or to improve drape or add comfort or warmth; a shiny knit or silky bias cut woven to create a warm weather strappy party dress; bias linen for a beach coverup; shorten and pair it with leggings; shorten further for a camisole under a jacket; printed cotton knit for a nightgown, fun nightie, or pajama top. So many options! How will you make it?!
