The Alice Flutter Knickers are a 1920's style Tap Pant with a modern twist. They sit lower on the waist, and have a fun, fluttery cut. These shorts are perfect for sleepwear or for wear under vintage skirts and dresses. The Alice Pattern includes an 8-page print at home multi-sized pattern, glossary of terms, and 10 page instructions including colour photos. The pattern shows you how to line the gusset, and two methods for trimming the legs with lace!
Skill Level: Ohhh Lulu Patterns are geared towards Intermediate to Advanced Level Sewists. Required skills include how to apply lingerie and foldover elastic, how to ease curved seams, how to slash, notch, grade seams, how to work with bias cut and knit fabrics, how to use a twin needle (optional).
Suggested Fabrics: Fabrics with a good drape, such as charmeuse, chiffon, voile, lightweight knits.
