A boudoir cap, sometimes also referred to as a breakfast cap, was a popular accessory in the Edwardian era through to the 1920s. It was lightweight piece, usually made from some combination of lace, netting, silk, and ribbon, that a lady would wear to cover up her messy bedhead or to hid her curlers. This video tutorial features instructions on how to make two different boudoir cap designs (first one is based off of a magazine tutorial from 1921, and the second/third cap is inspired by a design from an antique boudoir cap).
