This cotton elastane jersey is soft and stretchy, ideal for heavier weight t-shirts, long sleeve tops, sleepwear and children's clothing. This material is composed of 92% cotton and 8% elastane. It is supplied in a 148 cm width and sold by the metre.
Additional Information Pre-wash, dry and flatten your fabric prior to sewing.Jersey will curl at the edges when cut.
Relax fabric and lay flat when sewing.
Use a stretch "ST" or ball point "B" sewing needle: 80/12 or 90/14.
An overlocker is ideal for securing seams.
Silicon tape or seam tape can also be beneficial when securing seams and maintaining garment shape.
