This iconic Liberty tana lawn is printed with William Morris 'Pimpernel', based on an original Morris design from 1876. The design is a simplified version of the Morris classic; featuring romantic full tulip flowers and graceful intertwining foliage forming unusual and mesmerising figure of eight patterns.

A dark navy background creates the perfect contrast for the small florals and foliage design which sits demurely in the background in golden mustard with centres of pale green. The elegant intertwining tulips and foliage feature cool water tones of delicate cream silver sage and palest aqua blue, producing an elegant and calming, cool air to this classic Morris fabric.

With all the wonderful characteristic of tana lawn; soft, smooth, light and drapey yet stable width and lengthwise with good bias stretch. This iconic fabric is perfect for pretty shirts and blouses and summer dresses with fine gathered, tiered and pleated skirts.

Imagine a superbly tailored shirt in this stunner, teamed with a classic neat wool pencil skirt in navy or sage green tones with a matching neat boxy jacket, perfect! Try it with the beautiful Artichoke Check - Yorkshire Tweed
