Color Grown Sustainable Cotton by O! Jolly! is a collection of sustainable color-grown and natural white sweater knit fabrics. The collection currently includes a solid natural white jersey, heathered pastel jerseys, natural white textured knit, a contemporary textured plaid, and matching 2x2 ribbing.

The cotton used to produce this fabric was grown in the American Southwest by farmers who practice sustainable growing methods. The yarn is its natural color; the cotton grown naturally in brown or green, and in this case, spun with a natural creamy white yarn to give them their earthy pastel colors. There has been no mercerization used in processing. Since the yarns are not dyed, the colors do not fade in the wash. The colors actually become deeper with each warm water washing, especially in alkaline water, until they reach their full potential. (Washing in cold water tends to maintain the color of the fabric. Adding baking soda to warm wash water tends to deepen the color.)

All fabrics in this collection were knit in New Jersey US at a family-owned mill. Read more about this collection on O! Jolly! Crafting Fashion. Fabrics are available online at the O! Jolly! Shop.
