Hi there! My name is Tara, and I am a professional dressmaker with over 20 years experience in the fashion and costume industry. I have a strong passion and a love for creating beautiful and unique garments.
With my extensive experience and education in fashion design, I have honed my skills to become an expert in the art of dressmaking. I have worked as a costume designer for many years, bringing life to characters on stage and screen.
I have now taken my passion for sewing and created my own line of sewing patterns. My goal is to make sewing accessible to everyone, regardless of their experience level or budget. I believe that everyone has the potential to be creative, and with the right tools and resources, anyone can create beautiful and unique garments from scratch.
I have created my sewing patterns to be suitable for a range of skill levels, from beginners to more experienced sewers. I believe that with a little guidance, everyone can unleash their creativity and bring their visions to life. My training in fashion design has allowed me to provide clear and accurate instructions, using the correct terminology and techniques, to ensure that people are learning to sew correctly and building a solid foundation for their sewing journey.
I take great pride in doing everything myself, from initial concept and design to pattern drafting, instructions and illustrations. I believe that this personal touch makes my sewing patterns even more special and allows me to provide a high quality and consistent product to my customers.
When I am not working on my latest project, I enjoy exploring new fabrics and texture. I am always on the lookout for unique and beautiful materials to incorporate into my designs.
