In my studio you'll find practical items that remind you of your weekend jeans . In addition to denim, these items are lined with lovely new prints or upcycled shirting, enhanced with re-purposed linen, and decorated with unique buttons--many from Bavaria. I'm here, designing and sewing so you can own or give something special. You can even have one of my designs made from YOUR favorite jeans or shirt. I want you to love what you receive as much as I love creating!

The sewing part of my life goes back to my early childhood. My Mom and Grandma taught me a lifelong love. Fast forward 50+ years and the internet offers opportunities I could not have envisioned.
I'm a child of the 60's so recycling is important. I'm a child of God in Jesus Christ and new life is everything. My husband and I have a vision for ministry to Christian missionaries home on furlough; this is the reason we bought our home in rural Amissville, VA and named it "Harvest Home". We desire to open not only our home for rest and refreshment, but to create a network of homes joining us in this work. Our ministry is in the beginning stages but we are working and praying to see it come to fruition.
In 2016 we are beginning to build out our unfinished basement for a lovely place to offer hospitality. Thank you to all who have prayed, purchased, donated denim, and encouraged. What a praise! Harvest Home Studio is one way we seek to raise revenue in order to give it away to those who carry the gospel around the world.
Everything in my shop is designed and made by me in our smoke-free, pet-free home. I would love to share the work of my hands with you!
