From Octavia Patterns:

Pomegranate is a really simple and fast to make top. There are no darts, no closures, and no facing pieces, and it looks beautiful on all body shapes!

A self faced cowl neck gives Pomegranate its signature, whilst the kimono sleeves add a balanced, smart casual feel. The bias cut allows the cowl to drape beautifully and the fabric to fit flatteringly to the body.

To make Pomegranate you need a lightweight drapey fabric, and matching thread – and that’s all!

Sewing Level

Pomegranate is perfect for confident beginners who are ready to try bias cut sewing, all the way to experienced dressmakers who will be able to whip this up in under an hour. With only two pieces and very simple sewing instructions, this is the perfect pattern to dip your toe in the bias cut garment pool.
