OMG - this was one of my most favorite fabrics I've ever found. When I picked this up at the thrift store I squealed with glee, because the novelty print is absolutely adorable. Look closely. Also, because of the wonderful pricing of my favorite secondhand shop, I do declare this to be a ONE DOLLAR DRESS! BOOYAH.

Now that the dress has had loads of wear, I can tell you that for how adorable the print is, the manufacturer sure did skimp on the quality of the fabric. It has faded quite badly, and pills. I hate pilling.

Modifications

I added approximately 8 inches width to the gathered skirt to make it fuller, simply by moving the skirt pieces @ CF and CB away from the fold ~2 inches each (2+2 = 4 inches per skirt * 2 pieces = 8 inches total). I liked this mod. I probably graded out the waist to match my measurements, too.
